By accessing or using our Website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Website or services.
1. Service Description
Helping Hand Assembly LLC ("we," "us," or "our") provides a specialized service where customers ("you" or "customer") arrange for unassembled furniture purchased elsewhere to be delivered to our designated facility. Upon receipt, our team will professionally assemble your furniture. Once assembly is complete, we will arrange for the delivery of the assembled furniture to your specified personal address.
2. Customer Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to the following responsibilities:

Furniture Purchase: You are solely responsible for purchasing the unassembled furniture from your chosen retailer. We do not sell furniture.

Delivery to Our Facility:

You are responsible for arranging and paying for the delivery of your unassembled furniture from the retailer to our facility at 2009 Patch Street, Stevens Point, WI 54481.

You must provide us with clear instructions regarding the furniture being sent, including the retailer, order number (if applicable), item descriptions, and estimated arrival date (preferably a tracking number).

We are not responsible for delays or issues with the retailer's delivery to our facility.

Furniture must be delivered in its original, unopened, and undamaged packaging. We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of damaged or tampered packages.

Accuracy of Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information for both the furniture details (e.g., item name, dimensions, assembly instructions if unusual) and your home delivery address.

Home Delivery Readiness: You must ensure that the delivery address is accessible and that there is sufficient space and clear pathways for our delivery team to bring the assembled furniture into your home. This includes clearing any obstacles, pets, or fragile items from the delivery path.

Presence at Home Delivery: You or a designated adult (18 years or older) must be present at the agreed-upon home delivery time to accept and inspect the assembled furniture. If no one is present, a re-delivery fee may apply.

Assembly Instructions: It must be ensured that the unassembled furniture includes all necessary assembly instructions, hardware, and components as provided by the manufacturer. We are not responsible for missing parts or inadequate instructions from the manufacturer.
3. Our Responsibilities

Receipt of Furniture: We will confirm receipt of your unassembled furniture at our facility via email.

Professional Assembly: Our trained technicians will assemble your furniture according to the manufacturer's instructions. We will use reasonable care and skill in the assembly process.

Communication: We will keep you informed of the status of your assembly and schedule the home delivery, via email.

Home Delivery: We will deliver the assembled furniture to your specified home address during the agreed-upon delivery window. Our standard delivery includes bringing the furniture to the desired room, provided it is safely accessible.

Damage Reporting: We will note any visible damage to packaging upon receipt. If we discover damage to the furniture during the assembly process that was not evident from the packaging, we will notify you immediately.
4. Fees and Payment

Assembly & Delivery Fees: Our fees for furniture assembly and home delivery are detailed and provided via a direct quote.

Payment: Full payment for our services is due at the time of home delivery. We accept personal checks, cash, or debit/credit cards.

Additional Fees:

Re-delivery Fee: If we are unable to deliver the assembled furniture to your home due to your absence or inaccessible premises, a re-delivery fee of $100 will be charged.

Waiting Fee: If our delivery team is required to wait at your home beyond 15 minutes for you to become available or for the area to be cleared, a waiting fee of $25 per 15 minutes will be applied.

Complex Assembly/Missing Parts: While we strive for efficiency, exceptionally complex assemblies not reasonably anticipated, or significant delays due to missing parts (not our fault), may incur additional charges. We will inform you before proceeding.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation by Customer: You may cancel your assembly and delivery service up to 48 hours before your furniture is scheduled to arrive at our facility without penalty. Cancellations made after this period may incur a cancellation fee.

Rescheduling Home Delivery: You may reschedule your home delivery up to 12 hours before the scheduled delivery window without penalty. Rescheduling requests made within 12 hours of the scheduled delivery may incur a rescheduling fee.

Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a service due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., staff illness, vehicle breakdown). In such cases, we will provide as much notice as possible and work with you to reschedule or provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible.
6. Damage and Liability

Furniture Condition Upon Receipt: We will inspect the exterior packaging of your unassembled furniture upon arrival at our facility. We are not responsible for internal damage to furniture that was not visible from the exterior packaging upon receipt.

Assembly Damage: We will exercise reasonable care during assembly. If any damage occurs to your furniture during the assembly process due to our negligence, we will, at our discretion, repair the damage, replace the damaged part, or offer a partial or full refund for the assembly service for that item. Our liability for assembly damage is limited to the cost of our assembly service for the affected item.

Delivery Damage: We will exercise reasonable care during home delivery. If any damage occurs to your property or the assembled furniture during the home delivery process due to our negligence, you must notify our delivery team immediately upon discovery and document the damage with photographs. Our liability for delivery damage is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item or property, up to a maximum of $250.

Pre-existing Damage: We are not responsible for any pre-existing damage to your furniture or property, or for damage caused by faulty manufacturing, inadequate packaging by the retailer, or improper handling prior to our receipt.

Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Helping Hand Assembly LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with our services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Helping Hand Assembly LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use any content from our Website without our express written permission.
8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Steven Point, Wisconsin, or exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin].
9. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
